I just found out from Michael Buckley's #WHATTHEBUCK show on YouTube. Video aired Dec 14, 2011...saying that there is a new Disney Princess... among other things. Yes, I am... one week late... but apparently... Toy's are already being planned...

Format: Disney TV Movie Rating: Ages 2+

Sofia the First

Her name is Sofia the First... And, she is going to be the first [young] princesses in the whole history of Disney princesses...in order to be a role model for all young girls out there... because apparently all the other princess are shallow and send bad messages to their young audience... in which lead to why adorable little Sofia was invented.
Her story (apparently): Just your typical "normal" princess with a great awesome personality who lives in a glamorous castle that may get confusing at times and has new stepsiblings, Amber and James... after her mother married king... her story will begin with her and her mother packing up to start their whole new life... with the king and the stepsiblings...
Other Disney Princesses will be featured in her "storybook"... which will include Cinderella, "SleepingBeauty" and fairies Fauna, Flora and Merryweather will appear as the headmistresses of Royal Prep, Sofia's school.
I wonder if Sofia really is going to be that as great, cute, stunning new princess as article’s say... but apparently... we have great actors... doing the characters voices... can't wait for Sophia to air on Disney and Disney Junior channels, worldwide.
